Proteomics/Proteases

Trypsin was one of the first products commercially produced by Worthington in the late 1940's, based upon the early enzyme crystallization work of Northrop and Kunitz published in 1931.

Since then Worthington has added the production many other proteases that are used for many diverse life science applications including primary cell isolation and tissue dissociation, cell culture, bioprocessing, diagnostics, regenerative medicine and proteomics.

 Worthington produces a chemically modified SequENZ® Trypsin with significantly reduced autolysis when used under extensive protein digests, along with specialty packaged trypsin, chymotrypsin, Endo-Arg-C and Endo-GLU-C for proteomics and protein sequencing applications.
