NEW! Animal Free Collagenase Grades Available!

Researchers interested in regenerative tissue applications and/or avoiding potential viral and prion risks from commonly used animal sourced fermentation media components now have Animal Free (AF) Collagenases produced by Worthington.

Types AFA, AFB ands AFC collagenase are derived from cultures grown in medium completely devoid of animal based components and designed for bioprocessing applications where introduction of potential animal derived pathogens must be prevented is now available from Worthington. Levels of secondary proteases are similar to Types 1 and 2 collagenase.

These new AF types are also available 0.22 micron filtered and lyophilized in 50mg vials for single use convenience.
